Boxers are excellent mixture of high intelligence, playful personality, athleticism and family guard dog with a warm affectionate nature. They are wonderfully all round performance family friend dog, in fact a complete package because there’s so much to admire about them. One minute, it will be playing with the kids, the second minute it will come to curled up with you while watching television and then the next minute it will be running to investigate a knock at the door. They are so agile and energetic that they need regular exercise.

 

When boxer puppies are given proper training and socialization, they are great choice for any families with children. They love human companionship and are very loyal as well. So train boxer puppy and discover the surprising and outstanding results from them. Once it is of 5-6 weeks, you should start training it with basic commands like “sit”, “come” and “stay”. Unless you don’t teach your Boxer puppy the right and wrong things, it cannot judge about the things that may embarrass you.

 

The key point you need to remember while you train Boxer Puppy is the positive reinforcements and reward training. Punishing will not help when he does any mistakes. It will just arouse anger and feeling of dislike in him. He will resent you for it and won’t obey things you order. Instead if you praise and train Boxer Puppy with patience, he will learn quicker and well.

 

 While training, you need to be cautious about his diet also. You must feed him 3 meals a day until he grows up to six months older; you can decrease the meal to 2 times after onwards. Boxer puppy cannot resist extreme heat or cold, so they need to be taken care of on such conditions also. They aren’t that breed which needs any harsh corrections and forceful methods. They respond quickly to the positive reward based training methods. So, train boxer puppy with these principles in mind and your boxer puppy will develop into the reliable and trustworthy member of the society.
